woke up out of weird dream (wish I had written it down) with a hellacious sore throat and laryngitis. OMG WHAT? Body have you given up entirely? Thankfully I still have a) antibiotics b) a dr's appt tomorrow. I think this is just my usual spring allergies. Have I mentioned how much I hate spring? almost as much as I loathe summer.

since I feel like left over crap let me just spout off some nonsense.

First off, sorry to raceulfson and winters_queen for missing your birthdays yesterday. Happy Birthday a day late. Hope it was happy (I think I missed rahirah's too).

today was fun in class. My office is adjacent to two labs, one running fake sewage removal experiments today and the other using flesh eating beetles to clean roadkill coyotes (whee) and my own lab was dissecting medium sized animals. Can I just say I smell?

29. How often do you think about writing? Ever come across something IRL that reminds you of your story/characters?

I think about it all the time. I feel guilty if I'm not writing when I'm supposed to be. I often come across things IRL that remind me of my characters. I was reminded today I totally need to use the one house I drive by in Jackson that has a cemetary abuted to it and it's front porch gives you a view of the hooker hotel across the street.

evil_little_dog and i had WAY too much fun in the first Ice Age because the characters were EXACTLY like three of ours right down to some of the things they said. We howled the whole movie.

Well a bunch of people in MA have had it over the last few weeks. No one told me thins before I came up to MA. XD

Even though I am over the turning myself inside out phase, I still feel really queasy, and I get light-headed and tired (probably just dehydration and low blood sugar as I haven't kept much down - I threw up a lot of Gatorade this week). The idea of working an overly full day tomorrow to make up some of my lost appointments kills me. I am going to try and keep the ones I've already pushed back, and if I don't feel well enough, I'll have to cancel the ones originally booked for Friday.

My puppies had a good time visiting up in MA. My dad had them outside with him the whole time he was out working. They are FILTHY.
