Graduation Day

cornerofmadnessIt was nice and cool which makes those black gowns livable. But it was windy. Even with four hairpins my mortarboard blew off more than once. Some of the nurses I think will be really good graduated today along with three of my favorite students and another who seemed highly attached to me. It'll be weird to not see him in my office all the time. The other 3, all going to OU, two to medical school, one to physical therapy's doctorate. They'll all do so good. I'm proud of them. (and no, they're never the ones whose answers have appeared here.
Went to the after party where in a lab/something or other and a lab/chow both tried to sit in my lap at once. We discussed the weird and wonderful of OH, ghosts and past lives and planned supernatural trips. That's the fun thing about my school, the profs are odd. We're still kicking around the idea of starting up a shakespearan company on campus now that we no longer have a fine arts major and an empty theatre.
the book launch is underway so yay. Now to keep myself from hounding around looking for reviews next week. I think I wrote the only fantasy piece in the series.
