Whew, this was a nice break from my nanowrimo novel, however, it's an ugly little collection of drabbles. As always all belong to Joss and they're all PG-13

Spike/Buffy BtVS S 6
She tainted him, like a sickness of the blood. She washed through him carrying away everything that made him what he was. They were a disease, ugly, festering, destroying each other, whittling away their souls, trying to find the love inside of them. Did she love him even as her fists struck him? Why did he want her to? It was against nature. It was everything he had mocked Peaches for. No wonder Dru left him. He ached to convince Buffy of his love. He wanted to carve that love out of his heart and toss it away.

Tara/Willow S 6
She wished she knew what she could do to help. Nothing seemed to reach her lover. Tara felt herself being shunted away. She couldn’t compete with the sickness Willow was embracing with both arms. Tara wanted to fight but Willow barely even saw her any more. She knew she was still loved and that’s what made it all the harder. Tara had only ever felt this powerless once before against her family. Healing had taken leaving. Could she bear leaving Willow? Would it cure the woman she loved fiercely or would it make her succumb completely. She had to go.

Connor Post Not Fade Away
She had said he was sick, that Quor-Toth had corrupted every bit of him. Connor nursed his beer, ignoring the frat party raging around him. He remembered Cordelia’s light filling him. They thought he wept with relief. It had been soul-wrenching agony. Only now, after it was all over, after the sickness had been cured by Vail’s spell did he truly understand. She hadn’t cured him. Cordelia had infected him. Or maybe it was Jasmine, even then, pulling the strings. From the moment that light filled him, Cordelia became his obsession, his master only no one knew he had been sick.

Angel - AtS S5
Women were his sickness. His youth was lost in a sea of alcohol and feminine flesh. He had given himself over to a beautiful stranger promising him adventure. He died for it and clung to her for decades to come. He thought of his comely seer and how he had to possess her if it drove her mad. He shut his eyes against the golden flame of Buffy that consumed him still. Then came another dark-haired seer and he had to make her his at the cost of her life. A sickness, yes and he wanted for no cure.

Twisted? Nah. Depressing? YEAH. Liked Tara's the best though the others are really good, too.
