I celebrated #42 by working two 12 hour ER shifts over the weekend. Now I know why the petunias said "Oh, no, not again." (I hope you get that. I'm still a little punchy.)

Tonight is My Last Shift Ever As A Pediatric Resident. Eeeeeep.

oh my, that's scary isn't it? Setting up my first job after residency scared me stiff

It's scary, but it's not exactly a first job just yet--I'm doing child neurology, so I'm just moving on to my fellowship at this point.

Went out with a bunch of the residents and had a last hurrah. Or maybe not quite last. I took four or five of them to a piano bar a couple of weeks ago and now they ALL want to go. *tch* Kids...
