blah day

The highlight was going to the market place, a high end Giant Eagle. I got some tasty olives and teas (sun, moon & stars) and a cheddar cheese dusted with expresso powder and lavender. Mom squelched the rattlesnake and the chinese truffles (they were a reasonable 130$/pound, ha!)

However I know for sure the cysts are back (as if the high blood sugar and the clumps of hair coming out every time I touch my head weren't a clue). the second period in a month is a dead giveaway. Bah.

but the really blah thing was Mom's mood swings and dad's. He tried to start up an argument (about something I could prove if he just drove his ass to my apt) and I refused to play along. that just made it worse. I have no idea WHY I must be wrong about everything but I do. I can not be the one who actually knows anything. Weirdly, he'll tell anyone else how smart I am but to my face, I'm an idiot. Yeah,I have no idea.

My dad was occasionally the same way, or certainly made me feel that way. You have my empathy.

Man I think most people know someone who has to always be right or always tries to one-up everyone. It's so ugh making and can be very disheartening.

I know a lot of them. Sometimes I'm one of them. I try not to be though but it does slip out

The double period thing might be age more than cysts. I started having that right around the age of 40, and it always seemed to happen in the summer, for some reason. As of last year my hormones have gone from two periods a month to skipping a month, which I must say I like much better, even if it does mean I'm getting old(er).
