Speaking of being at work (not to mention my thumb brace) I don't have time to link this pretty but got it from lordgloria, a link to a Fox news poll about Prop 8. I voted. You should too. And to echo my source,I don't think this is turning out how Fox probably wanted it to.

Hilarious! I'm sure Fox didn't expect their pollsters to turn around and bite them in the bum to quite that extent!

We've had civil partnerships (that give the same rights as marriage and are refered to as and looked on as marriages by everyone, only the name is different) over here for a few years and I have yet to see it bring about the collapse of civilisation...

please don't me started. the whole prop 8 thing rocked my world. I lived 15 years in california but I'm 8 years gone, and when i saw that prop 8 was even proposed I laughed, thinking it was the just some wackos and the whole thing would go down to igominious defeat. when it passed i thought i was in somesort of twilight zone episode.

I have a few friends whose marriage was threatened by this bit of idiocy and i can't even imagine how they felt (well they were vocal about how they felt but still, I can't imagine being inside that nightmare)
