the good news is, the tendon is only fat swollen and inflammed, not ruptured. He slapped some steriods into it and I think I'll call my brother to get some physical therapy tips for it.

He also sent me to get a nerve conduction test on my hand. He didn't like the looks of that knot in my wrist either.

Kanda is still feeling pukey. I guess if I had vaccinations by the bundle, anaesthesia and my nads cut off I wouldn't be feeling spiffy either. He alternatively wants to be with me but won't look at me.

I'm glad that the surgeon had at LEAST somewhat good news. Not great news but not, "THIS is going to suck and fail worse than it did for forever and ever amen."

I was worried. shoulder surgery is tricky and often fails to resolve issues. wish he would have ordered more therapy though...ah well at least there's shot in there but the marcaine is wearing off...

When do you get the results on the nerve conduction test? Or do you just have the RX for that now?

just the RX. I'll be seeing my connection in the medicine world for the school's pre med club

Kanda now has flea meds on him so he's even more put out though I'M put out by how much flea dirt was in him.

Yay, no surgery. The shoulder is such a rickety, floaty joint--I don't know how you'd even begin to repair it surgically and have it hold together properly once the tendons have been compromised.

you really don't. SHoulders are a bitch to rehab and often never get right. I had trouble with this shoulder in 96. the tendonitis was so bad the head of the humerus sagged out of place
