Okay so it's not QUITE there yet but in the interest of getting this in under the wire (I'm spell checking the critter now),  let me say this.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY MASQUERADE!!

Here's your birthday fic. Chapter 2 of Leaning on the Edge of E. (yes that story that is getting down out of sequence and for various people's birthdays.) You may have to wait a year of sundays to see ch 3 but Maren's chapter will tellyou I did NOT kill Connor off in chapter two in spite of appearances. I hope you enjoy it.

ETA: Okay since I'm brain dead at this point Chapter TWO is the new one. Chapter one has always been there. Chapter two just got added and let me say this is UNEDITED. So if there's a million embarrassing typos and shit that makes no sense, that's why and please feel free to point it out so I can fix it. And Chapter 'three' is what I did for Maren/Halloween. It's not really chapter three but a much later chapter but they dn't have that option on Forever Fandom so for now it's 'three'.

That's what's confusing me. The story you talked about sounds like the story described in chapter 1, not chapter 2. Chapter 2 just says, "Ireland".

Close down starts the whole story. THat's chapter one. It's been cooling in my computer since May or whenever the heck NFA aired. I wrote that right after it. Then the story languished after the trauma of it all. I started 'chapter three' last month for Maren's birthday (that's the Ireland one and it's B/A, Connor/Faith, Spike/Illyria)

Chapter two - Elder god is the REAL chapter two and i just finished that for you today. WHich I forgot to stick in the author's note...damn it. I'll do that tomorrow. Like I said it's rough, badly rough. Lord knows what I've really typed there.

Great action story, you do those so well. I liked that three headed demon, a nice scary visual there.

There are a few typos here and there, nothing too awful. I liked Connor constantly going back and forth through his three personas. Poor kid, although at least he seems to be handling it fairly well.

Thanks. I'm glad you liked the action. That is SO hard for me but I've been working hard on that for the last 3 years. I figured there had to be some controlling demon hence the WRH elder god. And yes, poor schizo Connor. I get to go into Angel's bedside vigil pov next.
