i dont' feel well

cornerofmadnessI think it's one of those days where i've been reinfected by something i have antibodies. I've been hot, dizzy and dragging but I feel a little better now.
But between that and dealing with the electric company i didn't get the house as clean as I wanted to. I told mom if it's behind the couch in a box it doesn't exist. It's magic. She didn't like that and I got mad. I told her seriously if she's going to pick on my housecleaning she doesn't have to come. I'm in no mood to be picked on all freaking weekend.
Something weird as hell happened today (techies??) Today my computer was very slow to start up and it brought up ALL the stuff I had up last night as if it were waking up from 'sleep' and not being started from scratch after being off 12 hours. It brought up both word documents and all the internet windows. Then when it did go to sleep, it wouldn't wake up at all. I had to cut the power and start again and it did it AGAIN. I shut every window (as I do every time i turn off the computer) and restarted it and it restarted normally. Any clues?
we did dissect today. Viterous humor (eye ball jelly) escaped, rolled down my wrist, coating my cat wounds and dropped into my glove. my students were horrified.

Date: 2010-10-10 08:52 pm (UTC)Eyeballs aside, it sounds like your computer has been going into hibernate mode rather than turning it off or going into sleep mode. This is how I shut my compy down every day so that whatever I'm working on it loaded up again at the beginning of the day.
