only this year I didn't and mom and i had to go to the mall to get last minute gifts. If there's a recession it sure as hell wasn't at Robinson Mall...holy hell, you'd think people were giving away crap.

I bought a lot of uninspired crap and honestly could have done all my shopping at the grocery store. Most of my family are at the point of if we need something we buy it and we dont' need another damn knicknack ever again so food is a good gift. tea, coffee, booze, something we can eat/drink and get out of the house.

Found some memory foam. Here's hoping I can make that bed down there liveable tonight. Mom and I did corrall Soul and made him sit with us for a while. Kanda is adjusting a bit better.

I did get a bunch of holiday cards from evil_little_dog, purplesmurf, seaweed_fma (thanks for the stickers), seatbeltdriven,dragonydreams, a2zmom (your son did a great job on that), lilachigh helliongoddess, scratchingpost1 and a nice illo of Ling from bob_fish thanks everyone

I could retaliate with the picture of the wee little tomatoes that sprouted spontaneously from the compost I spread on the flower bed. The seeds were from full-sized supermarket tomatoes. So much for soil enrichment.

Speaking of getting cards and such, I got a package from Gelaskins just a few minutes ago. Whee! I can't wait to see what's inside.
