wasn't all that good since we had to go earlier than anticipated to get the Christmas flowers for the church and came home to the news that the painkillers they gave my brother made the problem worse (his doctor was horrified to find that out since narcotics are supposed to slow the GI tract. I'm the same way, it makes me vomit and gets the other end going too)

Mom and I filled 90 creme horns and I wasn't feeling good either since my sugar was so high I could have been run over to the ER myself (and last night I couldn't get my sugar up)

It got better in the evening. Dinner at the Outback was good and Mom wanted to run over and see her mother (mistake, she took one look at us and told us we knew better than to come over when it was game night) and then to the casino. They now have a stargate slot machine. Whee (I won on it) and they brought back the shinobi game too. Mom won 200 and I won 300. whee.

and here's irony for you, my broadband works in granny's better than ANYWHERE I've ever tried it including big cities.
