Writing year in review still pending
Jan. 6th, 2011 12:29 amokay I really DO need to keep my records for this as I go. Three days later and I'm still only on July.
However, i did notice that I truly did stop posting in April. I have tons of stuff from
fma_fic_contest,
fanfic_bakeoff and many other comms that I just never posted. 2010 sucked.
It really did. Another reason I should just copy the urls into a document as I go is that going back looking for fic, I see all my past pain and that isn't good.
Maybe I need to write less. Granted when fandom is acting like an asshole as they were today, that is tempting but who are we kidding after 30 years I'm not going anywhere.
however if you notice me NOT posting stuff from the comms this year hit me with a stick

Date: 2011-01-06 10:51 am (UTC)I'm sort of bad about reposting things, too. I have fics from other fandoms that I kept eyeballing because it's been MONTHS and they aren't in my journal yet. OH WELL. Hopefully we both do better this year.
And as a completely unrelated question, I was wondering something. Do you think it's better to get through school/med school early, or to take time and maybe work for a bit before applying? I'm having a dilemma.

I think it depends on your situation and personality type but on the whole, i'd say early. The longer you leave it, the harder it is to adjust again to having no money. You can not work in medical school (and grad school only barely) so if you have a ton of debt it's hard. Also seriously the longer you let it go the less you remember how to study and you have more trouble remembering things. WhenI had to go back after getting hurt, I was in my 30's and it was like OMG this is SO MUCH HARDER. Ask
