cornerofmadnessmy bad timing, my forgetfulness and the generalized weirdness. My 90 y.o. uncle fell and broke his hip and crawled UPSTAIRS and across three rooms, NOT to call but to unlock the door since he full expected we'd obey his 'don't call 911' and my parents would come get him. Yeah right. THis was only a matter of time. My parents and I have been trying to convincehim to go into assisted living. he has a 2 story house, he lives alone and has parkinson's. this was bound to happen. sigh.
Soul is home. He is stitched up. He hid from me for a while but is now in a forgiving mood. He and Kanda fought for hours but now they're settled, thankfully. I did get charged for the anesthesia but that's all, not the surgery, not the 5 days of boarding and even the stitch might not quite do it if he won't leave it alone. sigh.
cut my office hour short. Raced home for the landlord but they didn't have the other place done in time. Well tough shit. wait til monday now. I work until 5 tomorrow and friday.
They warned us about the wind today. Ha. I survived the ice and snow, what's wind going to do? Bat me off the road like a bug as it turns out. Nearly put me in the ditch.
okay it was much more like the Crack in the Universe in Dr. Who while I was driving but it's still there a bit
