Not only is this award winning pizza here but in Italy too. It's right in Athens. I go past it all the time. I've wanted to stop and take away a pie but a couple friends said it wasn't good (It's in an old gas station I think). Someone else told me it was good. Guess THEY were right. These pizzas sound delicious. (yes they're pricy but it's Athens. Everything is hence me not moving there no matter how much I wanna)
For that matter we have Remo's in Gallipolis which has been a family hot dog place since 1957. I'm not a huge hot dog fan but I wanna try the special sauce. I AM a sucker for family restaurants.
I had a strange dream last night. I was with a couple people (I got the feeling they were coworkers but I didn't see anyone's face clearly). We had a white tarp laid out over the School of Science Secretary's desk. I was going to do an autopsy on it but the cadaver had thick oozing tar all over his feet and they kept telling me not to get it on the desk or D (the secretary) was going to kill me.
Dad called me up after Big Bang Theory (my aunt got him watching it) 'You're just like Sheldon aren't you?' Go away dad.
now they're BOTH under there.
ETA - and how could i forget? Gōng xǐ fā cái happy new year's

Date: 2011-02-04 04:43 am (UTC)I celebrated the Chinese New Year with sushi and plum wine at Kotobuki. I couldn't let this one pass--it's the Year of the Rabbit, which is _my_ year. I'm hoping something good happens this year. It is off to an auspicious start--on my way to the restaurant, I hit all the lights green and lucked out on a three-fer of Police songs on the oldies radio station. Yay.

Date: 2011-02-04 04:08 pm (UTC)The other thing I like about that pizza place is they tell you things like how much their sandwiches weigh and that they put a quarter pound of mozzarella in every calzone. Makes me wish I hadn't recently learnt the calorie count of these things? It's like when Jamba Juice (smoothie chain in LA) started putting calorie counts on their menus during my second research trip. How the hell does this have 750 calories in it when it's made of bananas and strawberries? Oh yeah, the bucket of sugar and the fact that it comes in a cup the size of my head. Whoops.
