i would l ike to sleep
Mar. 7th, 2011 10:17 ambut instead we shall dream. It was a weird dream. I was getting married but it wasn't a real wedding. it was supposed to be a societal statement. My partner was someone I felt like I knew but I didn't recognize her face. I was helping her make the statement since she was too shy. She was also Indian so we were in saris.
However, when I went to step into the room I realized that everyone was there. ALL my friends and family and I was mortified. We were someplace they would have had to flown to and gotten hotels. I had no idea why they were there or who had told them but they were obviously expecting a real wedding. So were the friends and family of my partner.
Both of us wanted to run away. We felt so bad that people came and spent that much money on a stunt. We offered to pay for everything but it came to 200K
I remember my friend, F, who I did my residency with complaining to me that another old boyfriend of mine was being an arrogant elitist ass (and seriously now that I'm back in touch that's a legit assessment).
I woke up, teeth aching from being ground and my fists balled up.
I never really fell back asleep after that. UGH
ETA - the student I bought girl scout cookies brought them today. STop me before i eat the entire box of tagalongs

Date: 2011-03-07 06:21 pm (UTC)seriously though, sometimes the only way I can deal with those kinds of things, is to bring them into work where I can have one or two and give the rest away. I`m seriously addicted to Mistrals (a UK cadbury much better version of M and M`s) and `friends` sometimes send them down as a gift, and that`t the only way I can deal with them. Once the bag is open, well if I`m at home alone with them, it`s just not pretty.....
Amazing dream...
um, the tagalogs- are they already gone?
