I must. I was minding my own business reading in the tub then felt eyes on me. All three of the furred monsters were watching me. Okay then.

Today was the last day of the big bone test. Yes yes laugh. Even the students could tell something was wrong today. The fibromyalgia has hit the 'even wearing clothing hurts' stage. It's not been this bad in a decade. All the trigger points in the knees, elbows, back, hip and chest are inflammed. My right arm had numbness and pain that it became impossible to pronate/supinate (i.e. move palm down, palm up). I'm hoping this is the peak and we're going to go back down. My blood sugar is receeding to normal levels (Oddly my diabetic aunt and a diabetic student are also having fibromyalgia flares this week. I need to see if there's a link, if not, research opportunity).

The cats don't understand it hurts too much to hold them and sleep is next to impossible. whee fun.

Gah I hate whining all the time. Sorry. Done.


TO DO LIST (since all the cool kids have them)

1. finish space pirate story

2. edit FMA big bang

3. 2K shy of finishing saiyuki big bang.

4. put in those damn bids on help_japan

5. brace self for writing for same.

6. try to find something to remix for the challenge and this IS a challenge

Ah, apparently today is the day for pain. My carpal tunnel is killing me.

I think you may be correct....even I am dealing with pain today...at a level I have not had in a long time. Normally it's just the ache uck, which is my body telling me 'WOMAN we are in pain do something!' (Such fun having a high pain thresh hold and suddenly realizing the reason you are grumpy is because somewhere in the body is pain from all the stupid health problems). Today it is...neck, hips, back, ankle, tummy, head...yeah let's all get into the act.

Is it the weather patterns messing with all of us?

Oh and as for your cats watching you....maybe they sensed you were in pain and were just checking to make sure you didn't slide under the water? I can see it now "OOOP there mom goes. Quick you scoop up her ankles. I'll get her back..and you...get her head up!"

Sorry to hear about the fibromyalgia flaring. Hopefully the pain will die down soon. Would be interesting though if there's a link between fibromyalgia flares and the levels of blood sugar.

Hm, many of my friends are doing a to do list in their LJs too and I think I'll have to do that because like February, April will be one busy month for me in terms of writing and other fandom stuff.

Oh, cats. One of mine, my orange tabby cat shaped shadow, really enjoys staring at me naked as well.

I would offer internet hugs, but it sounds like even those would hurt. :( I hope you feel better soon. I don't have fibro, thank God, but I know enough about being in pain for no damn reason and I wouldn't wish it on anybody.
