let's face it. I'm never going to catch up on a week's worth of blogging. I only got to see a wee bit while on vaca. If there is something I should see/read/drool over link me up. I'm sure I missed tons of good stuff.

I went down to see the kitties at grandma's. I plopped down with the Criminal Minds marathon and let them come to me. Soul wouldn't even look at me. It took Kanda an hour before he forgave me.

I'm quite busy hiding from the 80+ degree temp. I'm ready to go back to Canada now.

I did get a lot of writing done. Now to type it up. I did not get any of my help_japan's done but I did get a little going. I got a lot of original fiction written. I also decided to try for the vacation and home for the holiday anthologies (after saying now) I think that i can send two boys to Victoria on a ghost hunting vacation and Temple/Li, Caleb/Agno for the holidays. Wish me luck. I'm almost done with my werewolf YA too.

In all seriousness, I'm looking into buying this house. My mom, aunt and SiL already have plans for it. I know this house needs work on the outside. Hell I could buy that Victorian siding and even if it cost 30K it wouldn't put this house out of my price range.

Hopefully the kitties will come around. Soonish. A yellow tom has moved under Mom's deck. She wants him gone. Of course, he's friendly.

Yaller Toms usually are, but if he's not fixed he'll also mark territory and it will stink, and can kill the plants wherever he decides to make his regular toilet.

P.S. Technically, he's Orange (or Ginger) hahaha or Buff if he's more tawny/dilute. Gods are Yaller.

Of course he's not fixed, and he's young, so he's not all beaten up yet. But Mom likes birds, and he's probably going to wind up eating one or more until we can get him to the pound or he runs off or whatever. I tried to get my niece to take him - she likes cats - but she doesn't want a tom, so.

Yah, the cost of living in Ohio is really low, compared to out there. I can't believe what they would charge for the tiniest cottage out there. I don't know how anyone can live there that isn't making a freaking fortune.

I mean seriously? I just found a 36 year old single wide trailer with one bedroom in malibu for (I'M NOT EVEN F'ING JOKING) $239,000!!! and no, NO acerage? O_O Never in a million years would you pay that for an old beater trailer in Ohio even if it was sitting on half an acre of the most prime beach front real property in the state. NO way.

PS I have a good friend who spent part of her childhood living in Malibu and they were really pretty poor, so I have no idea how they lived, because that was the cheapest home I could find there.

Oh wows! That house! Such a beautiful old Victorian Lady, and it looks like it's in pretty decent shape really. The agent really did a nice nice job of presenting her to advantage too. Be so much nicer for you than your little apartment with the fix nothing of importance landlord, huh?

So glad to hear you made it back in one piece. Not so glad to hear your luggage didn't, but better the luggage getting beat to pieces than you.

What is that in the picture? The other wing of the hotel, or a neighboring building? The herd of little bistro tables on the balcony looks fun, but if there's an eatery attached, I bet it's expensive to sit on that balcony.

That house is gorgeous! It needs some love, so hopefully a survey wouldn't reveal any problems that would be super-expensive to fix.

A house like that in a more reasonably-priced area of London, taking into account that it's a detached period house in need of some renovating, would set you back - ooh, $700 grand? ;_; Needless to say, the place Helen and I are in the process of buying is not that large.

Your hotel and holiday pics look pretty awesome too. And I'm excited at the prospect that we might get some Temple/Li out of it.
