So taking the sling off was ouchy McOuch. It kept me up most of the night. It hurts now. It's not horribly painful, more like a toothache, dull and throbbing. I have ice on it now. The REAL problem is trying to remember NOT to do stuff with this arm. I'm putting it in the sling while working or I'm going to hurt myself. I've also learned I can't even active-assist this arm straight up over my head. I have a TON of therapy waiting on me (12 weeks worth to be precise unless I a) do really well b) do really poorly).

I was so pissed today at my post office. I wanted to get bills packages etc. I get there at 10 and it's already closed. It only opened at 8 AM and the close wasn't even written on the board. It's like we'll close whenever the fuck we feel like it on Saturday.

Spent the day working on lecture notes. I had to be insane to argee to completely redo from the ground up two anatomy classes at once.

I'm having issues with the cats but I'm trying hard not to be mad. I know they've have an unsettling summer with going to PA, mom being here, the sitter being here, me being gone for weeks. When I got home there was poop on the floor. I was not pleased naturally. I thought maybe (and I still think it) it was because my friend REALLY piled the litter in the box. It was inches deep. I don't do that. Today there was more poop on the floor and later, someone peed on the paper recycle bag (i'm thinking it's Kanda). I took a lot of the litter out so hopefully that'll be the end to it.

Yay, daylilies.

Oh, geeze, to the poop and pee. I'd get some vinegar in those areas to see if that wards the cats off it. Otherwise, ew.

You're pissed at the post office, Mom's drug store wasn't open at 4:00 when I went to get her new meds. *headdesk*

Of course.

My yellow is very happily producing fruit. All the others are just producing flowers as of yet.

Has Rogue lost weight?

Man, cats do not like their routine upset, but what a nasty punishment they've devised.

The post office up in Garden City, six miles from me, always closes at 10 AM on Saturday. It's a small town thang, and I've watched people from bigger towns get absolutely pissed off when they find the doors are locked in this one. They have actually turned to glare at me, where I am calmly retrieving my mail from the cubby hole I have rented. I just shrug and tell them "Small town...it's what we do." Then they REALLY get pissed off to find that the bank also closes early on Saturday. Hell they stay open late on Friday, what more do they want?

Umm...yeah...your cats are SO not happy that you "left them" to "fend for themselves" and had "strangers" "invade" their territory. Shitting and pissing on things other than their box is SOP for an upset cat. The white vinegar mixed with a bit of water ought to do the trick. Yelling at them sure won't help...that'll just upset them all the more. (been there done that...OYE!)

Remember hon...."Slow and steady wins the race" repeat as needed.
