these dreams

during the time of the month when my estrogen/progesterone levels rise, so do my dreams. Many of them are disturbing. Last night was no exception. I don't remember most of the dream I know it was elaborate. It ended with me lying on my bed talking to mom looking up at the ceiling. I was complaining about the pets and slowly realized I didn't know this ceiling. It was that horrible acoustic tiling you'd see in an office or a drop-ceiling. A little voice in my head said, 'it's your new place.'

I was whining about the cats being bad and my two puppies never wanted outside but I never saw them do their business inside so maybe they were using the litter box too. Then I noticed dust falling and a hole slowly forming in the tiling. I told mom to hold a moment and jumped off the bed just as half the tile hit the bed, filled with burrowing flies and if that wasn't disgusting enough there was a mummified snake in the middle of the flies as if they had been feasting on him in their maggot stage.

I told mom about what happened and she yelled for me to go get something to kill them with so phone in hand I run but end up in the basement thinking 'only me.' Then I freeze realizing it's my grandmother's basement (which you would have to run thru the dining room and kitchen to get to those stairs). I also realize something had changed overnight.I go through the earthen basement, telling mom something was wrong and in the newer (i.e. 1950's) basement someone had turned it into one giant sauna-like room, that sauna wood covered walls floors and ceiling. I told mom she'd better come now then I woke up.

burrowing flies. Roy I think your botfly wound is haunting me. THough when I woke up Soul and Kanda were sleeping together on the floor in the computer room. Also Kanda is too freaking fat.
