busy morning

went to PT. The lady therapist isn't as attentive as the guy and didn't catch I was rolling my shoulder (and I didn't know it since the nerves aren't all firing up there). holy hell do I hurt now. Ah well. I KNOW I have to pinch my shoulder blades but I didn't. dumbass.

I got the shot records for frick and frack. Realized that Kanda needs revaccinated in the middle of his kennel stay. I'm figuring she won't hassle me. He's an indoor cat and unlikely to get rabies. I called the shelters and none are open. THANK YOU to everyone offering suggestions and support. It means a lot. I swear Soul reads minds. He hasn't been under the futon since I dragged his ass out to go to vet 2 weeks ago. I have done nothing differently in this room. My suitcase is in my bedroom. I don't have the carrier out and now he's hiding.

Went to work, faxed some stuff, met up with P. my Indian friend who just retired from the school. She's moving to MI.I'll miss her. She gave me a whole bunch of spices, including several with sanskrit or something on them. I came home and wrote down what they were and what they should be used in.

I'm totally bummed that Sy-Fy reneged on its deal and canceled Eureka. At this point what do they have left? Warehouse 13? (which by the way can stop bringing back H G Wells. She's not interesting) Alphas isn't that good.

I would like Temple and Li to tell me which of them is more submissive so I can do the final sex scene under the mistletoe. damn them. especially Temple. Brat.

though I must admit i like the manga better and didn't like Travis in this role (He does a much better job as Ginko in Mushi-shi or Takigawa in Ghost HUnt)

Yeah, I found him a little stilted. DGM is the first anime where I REALLY prefer the subs. Lavi and Lenalee in particular. And HOLY SHIT THE MANGA. I am an absolute mess over the manga. I always felt that Awakawa wouldn't do anything TOO appalling to her characters, but with Hoshino all bets are freaking off. When I first started it I was all "Dark? This isn't that dark." Ha. I stand corrected.

The taxis look like little toys. They're so cute. (I think the hulking Parliament buildings in the background skew the proportions--I really had to study that picture to make out that the harbor and boats _weren't_ miniatures.)
