I went to see my friend from college. We caught up over lunch and shopping. Turns out South Hills now has a teavana. they're NOT my favorite but at least they're an option now. I picked up some monstrously huge manga at B&N and we had a good time talking.

Got home in time for dinner then we all packed down to my brother's place. He and my SiL had us and Lucky Uncle and my Aunt over. Mostly we sat around talking and playing cards. He's in a much better mood now and is gaining some weigh (he had dropped to under 150 and he's 6 foot).

also i need to repeat this to myself, do not mention politics,no matter how sure you are someone agrees with you. Also for those of you making political posts, don'tbe offended if i don't comment to you. I just rather not talk about it ever.

gah the space bar on the parental unit's keyboard is stiff that I keep ending up with 6 words all run together.

Your result for The Sorting Hat: A Comprehensive Harry Potter Personality Assessment [Test/Quiz]...

Slytherin

51% Ravenclaw, 36% Hufflepuff, 58% Slytherin and 51% Gryffindor!

Or perhaps in Slytherin

You'll make your real friends,

Those cunning folks use any means

To achieve their ends.

Slytherin's cardinal traits are ambition, cunning and determination. Like the Gryffindor House, Slytherins are emotionally volatile. In contrast, however, Slytherins are much less dominant and assertive, and less extraverted in general. Rather than expressing these emotions outwardly, Slytherins direct them inward or act in a passive aggressive manner. Both Gryffindor and Slytherin are much more driven to succeed than the other two houses: Gryffindor out of pride and Slytherin out of ambition.

Slytherins are also much more pragmatic than the other houses and more adept at manipulating people. A key trait would be a low level of agreeableness: Slytherins are more pessimistic, more distrustful than most, and more likely to attribute negative motivations to people. So although Slytherins experience a wide range of emotions, due to their distrustful views of people and skeptical worldview, they are less expressive and more likely to appear cold or distant unless provoked.

A Slytherin's ambitious nature comes out in different ways depending on what is important to the individual person. It could lead them to try to achieve top marks (if intellect and schooling is important to them) but it could also be directed at social settings or towards athletic endeavors.

I'm very surprised. I tried it and got 60something per cent Ravenclaw.

I like how Kanda is taking care to occupy the whole sofa.

I try to keep off public politics for the most part. European politics can be pretty different to American politics, so there's lots of potential for misunderstanding each other and disagreeing on things.

snort. I'm not sure we even know enough about Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff to even decide what personality types belong there

Oh yes, this is ALL his and the other two can't have any.

i think the quickest way to lose friendships is to talk a little too much about politics and/or religion. I don't even like talking politics with people I agree with
