but they have great customer service. I was all happy with my disc of Baccano because 18th cen. alchemists in the 30's mafia setting, what could be crackier? It won't play. I pop it out and realize some gabone cracked the disc and tried to scotch tape it together O_o

I called them and they'll send out one asap without waiting on this but then i said 'you know last disc you sent Black Butler out of order. it had episodes 20-5 on it and I haven't seen one. why are the first 2 discs streaming only which i can't do and the last two are available on disc?'

he looked and couldn't answer since there are dvds for everything so he fixed that too. yay netflix.

Today I tried bittermelon. Yeah you pretty much have to bill this as medicine for people to eat it. it wasn't the worst tasting thing and given how fast the Asians were buying in Athens's farmer's market I'm sure it's an aquired taste but I doubt i'll be acquiring it soon more because it was a pain in the ass to clean than anything.

work is sucking right now. in all seriousness the removal of one person would truly help.

As i got ready for some 8 AM meeting, I was watching Angel reruns and it's the episode where Wes busts Faith out of the prison and she and Connor make some horrible decisions half out of character to ensure Connor ISNT there to fight. Connor's serious crush on Faith amuses me.

We've got the streaming only netflix and haven't had a problem. The only thing I don't care for is that you can't choose subs or dubs. For example, anything Viz has done is subbed and everything funimation/bang zoom entertainment has done is dubbed. With the funi stuff, that's fine; they know what the hell they're doing with their casting and stuff. But I was really looking forward to watching InuYasha and Bleach with the english dubs... Miroku-sama just isn't the same without Kirby Morrow's sweet sexy voice behind that wind tunnel... (sorry, I digress!) SO MUCH ANIME TO WATCH on netflix still! I'm watching Monster right now, which is FAN FUCKING TASTIC, but because it's a Viz production, I am having to stream it from somewhere else to hear the dubs. Has Winry and Riza's voice actresses in it, and the main character is voiced by the same guy who does Capt. Ukitake from Bleach. I keep tabs on different voice actors and sometimes will watch a series based on the cast alone. That's how I discovered Mushishi and Blassreiter(Mushishi is amazing if you haven't seen it, and Blassreiter's good once it gets going.)

I prefer subs BUT lately I have so little time that I often multitask while watching and I can't do that with subs so I get the dubs. I don't have high speed nor a Wii so I don't stream.

Just about every one of those pictures you post, there is one thing in the room I REALLY covet -- this one it's that chair, right there on the left. I love it - it's surprisingly funky and eccentric-looking for that context. The fireplace screen is pretty awesome, too.

I keep forgetting I need to cut my netflix back to streaming only - I don't rent nearly enough dvd's to justify the extra $$ since they changed their price structure. Thanks for reminding me! And they do have good customer service in my experience, too. It's one of the reasons I have stayed with them.

I at least have a laptop now that has a 17" screen, so some things I don't mind watching on there, but if I like it, I eventually want to re-watch it on a REAL tv. Then between my bad memory (I forget so much of the plots), and the visual impact of seeing it looking so much better, it's almost like seeing it for the first time again. *lol*

yeah actually it soaked in salt for@ 20 minutes to take out some of the bitterness (works for eggplant too) but sadly that wasn't enough
