cornerofmadnessa) I did get the go ahead to resubmit the demon hunter novella. They felt it was too dark for an upbeat holiday story but I think they may take it for the regular submission. Now I rushed my ass to get that out the door. Anyone want to look at a novella of gay demon hunters in the 30s
b) five minutes of watching Baccano and I kinda wanna see CoS Al and Ed meet up with a group that carries a tag line of ' a life of crime forever' or something like that.
c) I'm rethinking my bigbang. My concern isn't that I cn't get 15K. It's that I might not be able to get it done. it's going to be long. I MIGHT consider doing the last story in an alternative reality series where Ling is still Greed and Winry was his bride (The Gilded Cage, Misadventures in Babysitting series) where in Emperor Yao comes to Amestris and learns his bride and 'son' did not die in a hideous fire.
d) I've not forgotten my help whoever stories. I swear i haven't. i'm just massively blocked on them.
e) 47 days to nano. YIKES
and some great news, one of my former students passed her boards and is officially a doctor. She's doing a residency (last I heard) in pediatric oncology
Almost didn't put this one up but got lazy

I'm able to get a few chapters in already (started this story since April and had been writing it on and off since), but it's getting to be much bigger than I expected. If real life won't have mercy on me, I might have to make some shortcuts to the story, which I don't want to.
I like your alternate idea for your big bang, sounds very interesting. I say go for it if you feel you'll be able to finish that story much faster.
Congrats on your former student being a doctor! Feels good you made a difference there, huh? :)
