You don't need a nano update since well let's face it, I'm share-girl. So let's talk about the mechanics of nano.

Unexpected problems - outside of my computer and my time, I haven't run into any problems yet but my hind brain says it may be a coming.

Unexpected successes - Sverre. That boy will not shut up. Give a boy a load of problems and self righteous anger and he'll run like a deer apparently.

And it is so freeing turning off that inner editor. However, I know at the end that it'll be that much harder to edit this into shape but so be it. I'm enjoying it.

I'm right there with you.

But if I get any good ideas while writing it wrong, I jot them down and save them in a file to look at later.

Usually, if that does happen, I start adding in my new ideas, and end up with a nice inconsistent draft at the end. But at least part of the fixes have already started. Usually.

i've started doing that with the ideas (many of which i suspect i lost in that crash unless my drive is recoverable)

this is also why my over all nano is going so well. i did have a few bits of it lying around
