Nano edition: I'm slowing down. It is making me sad. Partly I knew it would happen. I had tests this week and a lecture to do. I haven't run out of ideas so that's the good thing. Now to get me a time turner and I'll be set.

So I have little else to say other than I'm jealous of my friend EaS's ability to illustrate her characters. Ah well.

I'm posting this most as place for my Nanoing friends a place to shout out. What's working for you guys? Where are you stuck? let's hear it.

NaNo write-in today helped me recover from yesterday, in which not a word got written. In my defense, Saturday was art show/birthday party/uncle visiting day, so it was crazy. I'll be at halfway (25,000) before I go to sleep tonight, though, so that's good. I'm not padding word count so much as exploring options, too, which is also good. Until I have to go back at a future time and edit all the exploring, that is.

I was hoping to get last few chapters of my fmabigbang finished (one of my NaNo projects I already mention to you about), but story got longer than expected. ALso I suddenly got held up with real life, needing to get edits done, and a bit stuck how I'll end one of the scenes I'm doing (I'm pretty sure I'll be able to figure that out soon, though). At this rate I won't get my Big Bang done until Thanksgiving and probably won't want to do the second story I plan for NaNo, lol.

I'm typing stuff wondering if my characters seem the same and also if some of my pirates are TOO nice. Some are dicks, some not so much. And the human slaver is a total smarmosaur.

I've been stuck ever since the time change. I've been working way too many hours, and getting far too little sleep. I have not given up on my story, but there is no way I will do much writing this month.
