I swear I did nothing but I also did nothing in the way of writing. I AM feeling better though. The antibiotics are working and my body shut itself down hard. I slept 11 hours, that's about as much as I sleep normally in 2 days.

I did have a weird dream. I was with my family playing tourist but I had a MUCH younger baby sister (it did seem a little odd in my dream because I hadn't remembered mom being pregnant, not odd because my mom had a hysterectomy in her 30's...) We were in a building that had toys from the 1800's and I was bored by the baby was thrilled. The really weird thing though was sometimes we were my family and sometimes we were us on the inside but on the outside we were the Simpsons.... The last I remember was thinking someone was trying to steal the baby.

Mom had weird dreams too. She dreamed my dad, his brother and his brother's wife were trying to kill her. They tampered with her car (my uncle is a mechanic) and they were at grandma's, calling her down to help with something but she had overheard them plotting and went down in the other vehicle. heh.

Why is it so impossible to find frozen vegetables without a damn sauce on it? The fresh snow peas and stuff were a) pricey b) not looking good so I wanted 'Asian' veggies so I could mix them up with my fried tofu and make dinner. Every last one had a sauce on it that would compete with what I wantd to do. Well I DID find some in a HUGE bag. That's great for a big family. I eventually had to get some with olive oil and herbs, the least offensive sauce I could find.

Thanks everyone for the great talk on description!

Snippet for the day your brother is an ass,” Sverre muttered.

“I know but he means well, You'll feel better. I promise,” Maka said.

Archana had nothing else to do but watch her work and describe what she was doing. Sverre swore loudly when Maka turned her attention to the scar on his knee. Archana went over and sat on the mat next to his shoulders, pressing her fingertips to his skin.

“I said you didn't have to do anything to help me.”

“I know. I'd take your hand but it'll smear the tattoos,” she replied then bent down closer to his ear and added, “which is why the priestess had to feed me. I saw your face.”

“Yeah well.” His statement ended in a snarl. “Goddamn, this hurts.”

I had a hard time finding my vegetable dim sum at the Asian market yesterday, but finally found another brand of them. I know that's not the same. I do see most of the Asian type veggies there in the big grocery store. I never checked to see if they had sauces or not.

That's sad. I was nearly forced to get chicken, 'til I saw the different brand. Yay, I have veggie.

Oh, I could see you being the Simpsons. :D

*Nods at veggies-sauce bit*

I find it both annoying and worrying that it is becoming harder and harder to find non-processed or altered food and normal looking vegetables, i.e not perfect and identical.

As arrogant as it may sound, that's definitely something I dislike about England... (and from what I saw during my trips to the US, it is pretty much the same situation there).

Americans are trying to change that. At least some of them. We're tired of processed crap. There's a movement to get back to 'heirloom' veggies. They're all I grow.

Oh, how big is it? A friend of mine told me that it is mainly "Californians bohos"... (her words).

way way bigger than that. I live in the middle of absolute nowhere and WE have organic veggies and farmers markets dedicated to it. It hasn't been a hippie thing in nearly a decade now. the rebellion against factory farming is large and loud.
