I will miss your books (even though I haven't read one in several years). She was one of my biggest influences as a young writer. There weren't all that many female fantasy writers back in that day. I loved Dragon Riders, even with all its faults.

I was in its fandom back in the day and met great people thanks to her writing.

She was a trailblazer and a force in the genre. She will be missed.

and on an un-sad note I'm thrilled with the winner of DWTS

I loved her Pernicious books, especially the Harper Hall ones.

I'll miss her, too (even if I haven't read anything of hers since Morita disappointed me so greatly) -- the first three Dragonrider books and the Harper Hall series helped form me as a writer, I think!
