It's been a long strange day but...

All I did today was write. I spent five hours sitting in my lab during my muscle/cat dissection lab pratical (2 two hour long tests back to back plus break down time). I wrote like a demon.

I drove out to Athens to meet with my group. I knew it would be a small group but...no one was there. I kept looking at this one lady thinking okay is that Zoni? I couldn't check on line since the Donkey Cafe's internet was dead and I couldn't apparently do the normal thing and go over and ask. Sure enough an hour and a half later I finally DO ask her and it was her. The only two who made it were she and I, BOTH of us coming from 50 miles away and the locals weren't there. That's okay, in all that quiet time with no internet (my nemesis) I got my nano done. And I had a good dinner of shawarma and babganoush and went grocery shopping at 9 PM (love it at that time except the food bars are closed), then drove home 50 miles in the rain and sleet. Sigh.

“Killed in an accident that was most likely not an accident. Charis has nearly been killed a few times. That would leave Izire in charge and he seems to share King Hafnir's delusions or at least his desire for power.”

“You think the king had his own son killed?” Sverre's eyes widened.

“I think it was either him or Izire, yes but the blame, should it even be assigned will be on some lackey.”

“Why would you even be part of this conspiracy if the king is killing off his own heirs? Because you love Princess Charis?”

Ethon startled. “What? What would make you say that?”

“Please, you're not that hard to read you idiot. Even I can see you're in love with her and I'm as romantic as mud to hear my sister tell it.” Sverre rolled his eyes. “I could see why the king wouldn't want a half breed sleeping with his daughter, especially if he hates us and I definitely believe he does.”

“I'd like to think it would be presented as Colonel Drake the fire mage would like permission to court Princess Charis but yes, it would be taken as that dammed half blood wants to sully my daughter.

WTF? Last night you acted as if the water in the bath tub would turn you into kitty go ala the Wicked Witch of the West and tonight you're BOTH in the shower with me getting wet. You are so strange

And today a car caught fire in the parking lot. Everyone was watching it burn. Feel sorry for the student it was but when you live in a state without inspection this happens sort of a lot

Woot! Congrats on crossing over to the finish line! I was in an AIM chatroom doing sprints with people and at least three of them got what they needed while I was one and I think another 2-3 got it after I left.

Yayyyy! If I had virtual confetti, I would throw it for you. Your word count looked scary there for a little bit, but now my NaNo Buddies page is full of purple bars (all the locals I've been meeting with every Sunday won, too).

The Doofus Twins probably slept in their litter box the whole time they were boarded. The cats the Humane Society drag out for adoption at PetSmart all do that. Yeah, attractive, guys, way to get adopted. Everybody wants a poopy-stinky cat.
