Thanks to all for the holiday wishes. Thanks again for all the cool icons/stories I got. Best part of the holidays, the meals. Yesterday me and my parents my prime rib that was superb and today my uncle made lobster. perfect.

Christmas eve was better than Christmas day. We've started opening gifts on  the eve (not my preference but my sister in law wants to spend Christmas day with her family so that's the reason for the change which is no big deal). We all had fun (except Gram who's a bitch most days and this was no exception). Today was far less festive. My mom's sister died this  year so I was expecting more sadness (so far not) but damn, everyone was bitchy today. I just get done cleaning the basement from last night's party this morning and sit down and Dad asks 'that all you going to do today sit?' (this after arguing with me over the Shroud of Tourin totally refusing to see I WASN"T disagreeing wiht him). My tooth was killing me so we're done my aunt's and I complained about it. Mom says something about getting it fixed like we haven't had the conversation a 100 times about me not having the money for it and she tells me I've been a bitch all day. Oh, you haven't seen bitch but trust me now you will. (And my psychiatrist was wondering why I didn't really seem enthused about coming home. I prefer my relatives as I prefer most people for short periods of time.) At least dinner was much better over at my uncle's place. People were less bitchy until mom got home but she's the one who volunteered to drive her mom home and since Gram's super bitch that means we all get the back splash of it.
Now she thinks I'm getting up at 5 AM to go shopping tomorrow. Yippee. I hate crowds. I hate malls. Explain to me why I want to go.

I got some nice gifts. Can't list them all but some clothing and perfume was there, the boxed set of Buffy S2 and ANgel S1, the SW trilogy and HP:PoA, jewelry, a stuffed bull and tea.

Got chapter two of ELD's story Awful Beautiful LIfe done (rough draft) in which Connor and Faith's night does not go as planned and part of it you've already seen in Leni's IWRY ficathon dealing with hair dye.

You know, hearing about all of the in-law from hell stories, it makes me glad it was just me, my parents, and the sibs. And actually, my brother spent most of the day down in the Cave, so there were only six of us around most of the day.

I'm sorry your tooth is bad. Hopefully, you'll have a really great New Years.

Just dropping in again to give feedback for The Holly Green.

What a wonderful story. While the first parts to this series aren't easy to read, the later parts are really fun and sweet. And funny. I loved the image of Angel taping the mistletoe to his butt.

Yes this is an angsty series. I'm very glad you liked The holly Green. It's quite fluffy which is unusal for me. And yes the antics of Angel and Spike...
