Things I forgot last night

I got a shopping reprieve (thank you snow) until tomorrow. I forgot to mention a few of the fun gifts I got including a sweet pic of VK in Dandelion from ELD, a tiki set from my friend Flippy (that my brother keeps trying to steal, ever notice brother is one letter away from being bother?)
and oddly I got NO books. I'm sitting here rather stunned. Well I kept part of the South Beach diet thing I got my parents (the recipe book). Does that count?

Well off to make ravioli for tonight's guests.

I got 2 books, and 2 books only for xmas. One surprised the heck out of me - one of my brothers and his g/f gave it to me and I'm actually enjoying it! Couldn't believe he actually chose a good one! Another brother gave me an XP for dummies book - but I kinda asked for it. Why is it that the biggest bookworms evah never never ever get books as gifts????????

Mom left all the books on my wish list for my friends because they were cheap and she bought the expensive DVD sets but since I only have two outstanding gifts I'm not holding my breath on getting a book
