Why is all the rum gone?

Because I drank it all. Or at least half of it. My cousin and I killed 2/3rds the bottle of something called bear Hug, a berry infused dark rum from Barbados(not available in this country). The berries made it sweet enough for me to drink straight.

We had a party over at Lucky Uncle's. It was a fun though I'm partied out. He had old super 8 movies of us that he'll hopefully put on cd for us.It was fun seeing everyone again (many of them have passed). How funny it was to see my 85 y.o. great grandma dancing the tarantella at Lucky Uncle's wedding. We rolled back in home to at one AM after a stop off to watch a rig burn (one of the damn frakking derricks went up)

Tonight's the new year party. Naturally they just HAD to invite prejudiced girl and her husband and THEY invited other people. Head desk. And mom invited them to drive over with us last night. Special.

I'm sorry you have to spend more time with prejudice girl. I think you should tell her that you're sorry your girlfriend couldn't come up so you could introduce her to everyone, and if things get too bad, we're still going to move to Canada to live.

Have a good time tonight. Will there be fireworks? I would love to see fireworks that aren't being shot off in the street outside my house.
