I have no idea how they do it. Tomorrow I turn in my tenure package. I'm 95% sure I'll get tenure (I'm better equipped than my nemesis and she got it 2 years ago). I'm still NERVOUS (I mean to not be would be arrogant). I'm stressed. I've had soup, oranges and bacon and eggs at the start of the day. I can't eat. Stress should make me skinnier than I am.

My tenure interview is the 26th. I had a doctor's appt then (naturally) for my stomach. One I've already rescheduled 3 times. I've moved it to the 2nd. By then I'll need it.

Before I get too much further into today's whining I wanted to share this link with my fellow authors, poets AND artists on the list. Icarus Anthology, it's looking for work. You have til august. Naturally being for charity (Doctors without Borders which is very important to me) I have an idea already, loosely based on a my life (turned to 11).

I owed the kitties. I swept the floor and you know how well Hoovers are taken. Then I didn't remember that the particular version of Tchiakovsky's 1812 Overture had cannon fire in it. Yeah that went over well. Not to mention I've been ignoring them for over a week. I spread catnip out. I have 3 high cats draped over the couch.

I finished my

picfor1000 AND got all the lecture notes ready for unit one minus the student's version so at least I have like a week to work on the big bang. sigh. I really could remove all of ch 4 & 5 but I'll soldier on...hopefully.
