I was supposed to be ghost hunting tonight but I think the price put everyone but me off. This is the second time the French Art Colony has tried and failed to get a ghost hunt going. I'm going to tell him next time, let's talk to the people in Athens and the Mid-Ohio Valley ghost hunters. That might help. I think the people here are too poor/too religious for this.

Instead they were having game night and wine. L wanted me to come but it's supposed to snow a lot. It snowed a wee bit. If I went it would have snowed a ton because for me it's a 25 mile drive. I was going to come home and work. I came home and crashed.

I rode 5 miles with resistence on the bike (didn't notice it, i think these recumbent bikes are defective. But for the first time in 2 weeks, my sugar went DOWN with exercise...then went into a free fall. Actually it's been a rollercoaster since wed. 100 then up to 300 last night robbing me of my will to do anything then down to 90 at 4 AM then back up to 200 when I went to exercise down to 97 when I got home. this is tiring. Truly.

Also exercise would be easier if my muscles didn't tighten up in the 30 seconds it takes me to get up off the floor from stretching and walk to the bike, just saying.

there's a dusting of snow on the grass. GLEE!

It snowed a lot today, but it didn't stick. Everything was just wet.

Your body. I swear. It's so strange.

I hear the wind picking up outside, and it was cold and damp inside the house earlier today.

Yes, I know. I lived with it!

Geez, your body needs a good smack upside the head so it'll settle down.

We're supposed to get snow too. I don't know if it's started yet because I haven't looked out, but I don't think it's supposed to be much, maybe in inch.

Story time!

I grew up going to church every time the door was open, pretty much. It was like Baptist overkill, okay? And is probably why I hate going to church on any kind of a regular basis now that I'm older. Anyway, when I was in my teens, one of my friends was the pastors son and he would get the keys to the church and a group of us would go up there at night and go ghost hunting in the church. Mostly it was just us walking around in this old building and creeping ourselves out. But what I would never have admitted to them back then was that I swear I really did see a ghost a time or two. Churches are probably some of the best places to go ghost hunting if you can get into them when they aren't full of people.

Although this one time my dad was up there on a Saturday for something and he brought me with him. There was mostly just the staff there, secretaries, pastor, music director and the like. And as we passed by the choir room that led back into the old chapel part of the church, I swear I saw someone sitting in the front pew. I took a few steps back and looked again and no one was there. My dad asked me if I saw him. And it startled me so much I didn't answer him. But on the way home he said he's seen the man sitting there too and not to be scared by him. That sometimes even ghosts or spirits need the comfort that a church can provide.

Anyway, I was just reminded of these memories by your post and thought I would share.
