Realtors lie with cameras

cornerofmadnessHouses look so good on the realtor site and I get to them and it's like did I drive through the looking glass? I went to see one that has a historic past and it's a price I can afford...and I'm pretty sure it's been abandoned for as long as I've been alive....frankly I'm not sure my GPS took me to the right spot since it's on a flat land in the picture and this wasn't. Oh how it wasn't. Going to look at another tormorrow. I almost convinced mom to come here on spring break to look BUT it's not going to work. my place is trashed. I mean TRASHED as in I'm embarrassed to live here but this week I have to finish two proposals, my edits for the novella and god knows what else. I need to get my tax shit together. I won't have time to clean and I'm not spending a week with her here bitching at me.
I think I shall speak to my doctor again and ask her to recommend me a stomach doc from a different hospital. I've had horrible heartburn all week and that other jerk didn't even bother to square it with my insurance to get me the new pills.
My arm throbbed all night and the steroids are wrecking my sugar but we knew that would happen. I'm tired, sore and crabby.
And I'm making poor decisions on what to include in class. it all sounds so good but i'm never going to get through all of this. Oh to be able to teach at a medical school.
