The Life of a Drama Queen
Mar. 19th, 2012 10:13 pmFor once, not about work. No, that was okay once they turned off the heat and turned on the AC before the students fainted. I picked up frick and frack from the vets. The not so bright new receptionist asked my name. Donna? The guy I think is the vet's husband corrected her and told her to go get the two cats. 'Which ones?' the ones that look petrified and are super still like they think that makes them invisible. (Special, my boys are the most neurotic things ever). The vet's place is PACKED. There's a large female bulldog snoring up the linoleum, a white schnauser actually NOT barking (imagine that), a german shepard, and a pit bull who wanted SO badly to play with Morticia the office cat (but was afraid of her).
So she gets the cats and Soul is KEENING. Loudly. Piteously. EVERYONE starts laughing at him. It's SO hard being a drama queen. Kanda is at least not having major drama llamas. I take Soul out to the car, wailing all the way. When I get back, the pitbull is kow towing to Kanda's cage. PLAY WITH ME. Kanda is crying. Soul whined all the way home. Both took off immediately once inside. Now they're doing a different drama llama. THey're being LONG cats, sighing and stretching and saying 'we're HOT.' So I am but I'm not fucking turning on the a/c in March. Oh I will when it hits 85 on wed.
I'm dying too. I HATE THIS. Spring/Fall are my times of the year to feel really good. Any temp over 75 begins to make me ill. I nearly threw up exercising today but I DID stick it out and finished. I'm still nauseated. I didn't even want dinner but I didn't eat any other meals so i had to. I regret it now. And I can't breathe. We actually had a pollen alert today. My trainer was breathing as hard as I was.
Still doing house research, including research into the 2 towns most likely to be 'home.' Well dad did it. Lucky Uncle is still stunned. Family household earnings - under 29K, single family home - less than that. He didn't know we were THAT poor. It's appalachia. There isn't anyone here who has a dime. don't ask why all the homes for sale seem to think you're making 100K.
