I had to wake up early to meet the students at the Franklin Conservitory for the orchid display and the butterfly releases. Two other profs RI and EB (not the other EB I've mentioned but they are both Elizabeths). I couldn't get moving since my sugar was low but I got up there with time to spare just to get stuck on the on ramp to I-71 thanks to an accident. 670 was messed the hell up too. Just as I was closing in on the place I hear screaming next to me and look over to see my students in a van bouncing around calling my name. I met up with RI &EB and we had fun. I took plenty of pictures (will spread them out over a few nights for the interested). I do love the place. EB had never been there before. RI is a member like I used to be. I got a weeping cherry pre-bonsai to kill. On the way out we saw three Red Hat ladies decked to the nines in bright red hats and purple outfits. I am going to join them some day.
We eventually abandoned the students (who didn't need us to go out to eat) and we cut across town only to find the entrance ramps to I 71/650/315 all closed and they led us all over the place to get on at an alternative spot. I-71 was still a parking lot but we eventually got to Dublin/worthington area. Found a new and good Chinese place. Hit trader joes. I picked up cheese (eating it now with some mead)and dried green mango which is yummy. EB pointed out a little old lady coming out of trader joe's. She had a cane and oxygen and her grey hair was all tipped in lavender and her rain coat matched.
We hit B&N too. Still has a piss poor manga selection. There was a 'new' one by CLAMP (not sure if it really IS new or new to the states) called Gate 7. I'm not really a CLAMP fan but it was pretty and sounded interesting but the cover was torn. I wasn't buying that and they had no others so I got the next two Fairy Tail ones I needed and some urban fantasy series that was new to me (well book one)
I got home to see the cat fight that was going on when I left was still going on. Soul also just stole cheese off my plate. Wolfed it down so I couldnt' take it away and now has hiccups. Serves him right (and is funny)
Sadly the only character talking to me the whole time was Roy. Roy can shut up sometimes, right?
it was a good but exhausting day.

this goes in the promotion portfolio

Is it me or is this cactus happy to me?
