To clarify that title, let me set the scene. It's supposed to be a low pollen day. THEY LIED. I barely slept last night and when I did I woke up screaming because I was dreaming that I was trying to run into my grandmother's house to get away from the guy trying to run me down (which isn't as scary as half my dreams so why I was so freaked is anyone's guess).

Come morning, my jaw had been clenched into utter agony and my eyes had dark rings and my allergies SO bad my whole face is swollen, my left eye nearly closed and both eyes were watering like mad. Patanol (anti-histamine) eye drops did shit. My allergy pill did less. My sinuses were swollen. I was nauseous and I was covered with red itchy bumps but I had a meeting today that was important and it was too late to call off labs and not have students irritated that they drove an hour for nothing.

I go in and two of them thought I had been beaten given the state of my face and the fact it looked like I was crying. Multiple students were just as bad off. It was horrible. Finally, I went to talk to the people calling the meeting and they told me to go home and forget about it.

I did. WIthin two hours, I had written THREE THOUSAND words, finished my remix story, finished something for fma_fic_contest and I'm still going. Seriously? WTF muse? If I'm suffering, you're a happy bitch? Let's see what else you can do.

Sounds like a very bad pollen day, with the mention of your students also in the same state. Heh the muse tends to like it when we suffer. Hopefully the allergies will clear up soon.

I have a cousin that is so pale as to look anemic. When she needs a mental health day at work, she goes in without make-up and they send her home. She is paler than I am... and I work third shift, she doesn't!
