Today everyone feared a very contenious biology dept meeting. Instead, everyone must have iced their hot heads down and we had a productive, if long meeting, without much in the way of hard feelings.

Also dear students, you DO NOT have to give your notes to people who don't come to class. You can say no. I know you fear being labled mean or bitchy but those people showed up for the test and did not stay for the lecture. They get what they deserve. NOTHING.

Tv Talk. Several of my flisters have talked about this in the past but I want to talk about it. The UST. It can absolutely be dragged out TOO LONG. Castle, you are getting ridiculous with this. A few other shows I watch, same deal. A show does not become inherently uninteresting if there's a committed couple on it. Psych figured that out. Look at NCIS with Gibbs and Jamie Lee Curtis's character. No UST. THey just went for it and they are one of the cutest couples going right now, IMO. It's nice to actual see a loving couple and it being the highlight of the show. There comes a point where the UST becomes annoying, unbelievable and frankly drives viewers away (and yes, Castle you're getting there)

My allergies were so miserable, I lost my voice and nearly couldn't lecture. my eyes are nearly swollen shut and I'm a miserable ball of misery. Can't it be winter? It's so bad here, whatever it is that's blooming has people who have never had allergies before whinging and saying so THIS is what people are crying about all the time? My GOD!

Somehow, I knew you'd see that baby in a casket story. It reminds me of the dog who got hit by a car and was wrapped up in a tarp for burial, and when his daddy went to get him to bury him a day or so later, the dog sneezed.

I have seen a few people mention the UST thing w/r/t Castle lately, which boggled me because I stopped watching the show a season or two ago, but I had gotten the impression that Kate and Castle had gotten together. So. . .congrats on dragging that out. *eyerolls at the show* I hate that cliche too!

Haha I had let some of my friends borrow my notes as they would be too sick to go to lecture, but yeah the other people who ditched the lecture and asks for notes I'm like no thanks.

I only watched the fourth season of Castle but had an idea the UST dragged on too long, LOL. As much as I'm starting to enjoy the show, total agreement on UST can be a bit much if not dealt with yet.

I was, in fact, using Psych as an example of getting the characters together and forgetting the stupid "Moonlighting curse" BS. Moonlighting went downhill because the writing started to tank, not because the characters got together.

I still enjoy Castle, but yeah. It's gone on too long. Either make them friends or make them a couple, one way or the other.

And I haven't watched the episode yet, it's on the DVR, so I'll listen especially hard for the "naked ice hockey" part. That could be VERY VERY painful... the shrinkage alone.

I only ever gave my notes to FRIENDS. Heck, we'd compare notes in study sessions, but we DID the work. I was that "bitch" who wouldn't hand over notes to people who weren't my friends and weren't in class to do the work. I'm also a "curve breaker". ;)
