Faculty appreciation party

It's the annual part at the winery. I wasn't quite my festive self. I think that cyst is really causing me issues. I was nauseous all day but I DID go and I DID have fun. BA, one of the frat brothers doing this party is an excellent cook. He's probably wasted in the chemistry program really. He's a cook at heart. We had three kinds of pasta and he did make a black forest cake with hand made granche and he brandied the cherries himself. Yes I was bad. Yes I DID eat it. Yes I'm regretting it now but it was SOOOOO good. I aslo got to pet Nikki the Mastiff again. She's just so adorable.

And Happy Birthday to lordgloria. Hope it was a great day.

I got a lot of grading put into the grade book and I did manage to edit a chapter. I need to edit and put up my CYA.

Pray for my scarred soldier story.Not sure how I'm going to get this done.

And shoot me for considering a function in Athens then driving back to go to the midnight showing of the Avengers.

Mom wants to maybe go see a movie for her birthday. If there's something she'd like to see playing. I'd like to go back to Hasting plants and go and eat at the BBQ restaurant on the way there.

Bloodhounds do drool.

A man at the store last night has an English mastiff, and he was telling how wonderful she is. She's learned to wake him up when his sleep apnea is acting up, and wakes him up to take his medicine and other stuff.

Sounds like good food at the party at least! Mastiff's are so sweet. I know this guy who used to have a mastiff that he named Buffy. So he'd call out Buffy! And this huge Mastiff would come over. Kind of funny.
