because I'm a lemming

Giving in to the inevitable, I ended up signing up for this thing. This is my story for the April 1st Dru ficathon. Aaronlisa is running a neat two part Wesley ficathon. I have, of course, been quick to point to my OWN stories for the ficathons I've participated in but haven't ever bothered to showcase those done for me. Well against all odds I actually got it done ON TIME. It's Pissing Down Rain but it's cooled everything off to 75 degrees so I'll be off to pack up my clothes while it's decent in this house. too tired to think so I'll do this instead. Well I've wasted my whole night doing well nothing really. Well I got everything packed with Evil Little Dog and Silverthorn's help. This was written for writinggoddess 's BtVS/AtS Ficathon challenge and it had some tricky requirements, let me tell you.
Note that it revolves far too much around ficathons. That WILL be different this year. I spent far too much time with these last year while my own stories sat around as wip's and for what. Only half the people bothered to write my challenge and/or respond to it. I don't care much about getting feedback except in this case. I took the time to write someone a story. The least they should do is say thanks. No, this year, the ficathons will be few and far between and will probably be couples only. When I do just the characters I like I get challenged to things I can not possibly write well
I went to a movie with mom today instead doing something we really wanted to do because I'm still far too sick for that. Saw Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events. I liked it. Mom didn't. It wasn't great but it was what I was expecting (i.e. I hated Jim Carrey as per normal).

Your EQ is |
50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick! 51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you'd have better luck understanding Chinese. 71-90: You've got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely. 91-110: You're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that. 111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt. 131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin. 150+: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar. |
