I am serious about that. I've always been a workaholic. I'm happiest having something to do. When I have little to do, my brain talks to me. It never says anything good. It becomes a spiraling descent and it happens so quick.
Like today (and well PMS is playing a HUGE role in today). House hunting. Hating. This place, this life, just hating.
I mean here are some more of the BETTER options. (warning, house hunting gets rapidly angry and profane...)
In town location Only slightly BURNT
the A frame That A frame. Oh look it's not an A frame really. It's a log fucking cabin and I think the fireplace is THE source of heat. Mom insists if I put up a little drywall, all will be well.
double wide Honestly, this isn't bad but this is the place i tried to find where everything was abandoned and decaying. I never did find this.
whee, a shack only 10K more than I paid for my car Look it even has a look out point for the ATF so I can have a still in the back. Wonder if we still have Granny's recipe for making shine (and no, I'm not actually kidding there). Sadly I kinda like this. Nothing says I live in Appalachia like a double wide tossed on the side of a fucking hill.
sadly this is west of town I'd rather be east. Even more sad...this is about the top range of my ability to pay on my own (well I could probably go another 10-15k). I swear I'd leave the rainbow room as is.
And Dad is riding my ass about having gas heat and no septic tank. Fine, dad, want me to live in goddamn town? Here's one with a lot I can live with. THat's right the leaning tower of Jackson. Hell it's so cheap now that maybe I can afford to fix whatever the fuck is wrong with it's foundation. (seriously, this is on a good street, big lot and it WOULD be a beautiful place if repaired)
the one the realtor has already tried talking me into It's cute but small and it has a shared drive, probably with that doublewide on the hill (same road).
the best of the bunch which ain't saying a damn thing. I need to go back out there and see which this is. You turn by the abandoned barn and....
I want to run away from this place. It might not kill me to look in the job ads, tenure or no. I also really see a huge fight and lots of tears when mom finally comes down here and we go shopping for these houses.
