Before I forget (which I keep doing) Aaronlisa is doing a ficathon of a different kind. It's for original fiction. You sign up and guestimate your word count and you're writing your own stuff for yourself. Basically it's like a little nanomo. The idea is to do shorter, original fic. I'll be giving it a shot. Maybe now with more magazines doing online submissions I won't be spending more than I earn with submitting genre short stories. You can find it here. orgficficathon
