I am now officially rushing to get home (because my brother is throwing a party on saturday for me). I am not sure what to do with the cats. Soul needs to go to the vet since i think his infection is back and now he's not only crapping on the floor he's back to pissing. I am furious. I would like her to just rehome him. I hate to say that because I'm about the only person Soul likes but it's getting ridiculous that every summer he refuses to use the litter box and no one knows why.

I don't want to pack. I don't want to do anything really. I can't sleep b ut that's because they're doing ROADWORK starting at 4AM. they tore up the road just outside my bedroom window and then fixed it and this morning they tore it out AGAIN! At least it's cooling down. thankfully. Maybe I can sleep now.

I'm so ill prepared and then tonight when I was going to do stuff my friend L calls in a panic over something completely ridiculous and i was on the phone forever. I don't mind talking but this was not the night.

Sorry, self-indulgent post is whiney. I think from now on, I only leave the country if I'm going with some big tour group that plans everything since I have NO luck doing it myself.

How's this work for a stressed-out icon for you? It's one of my favorites, for that kind of mood.

When do you actually leave? I've been stalling my hubby on a trip to England and Scotland because of just what you are going through -- that and the worry that I will get there and just physically fall apart, and not be able to enjoy it. But we are going to go in the next year or so, sometime (before I get too old and decrepit....)
