it was an easy drive (if you ignore the fact my stomach is trying to eat its way out of my body). I hope the hell I didn't forgot anything I need. My brother is planning a big big dinner for me tomorrow (lobster, crab, scallops). Way to go Brother. (sadly I would rather be meeting 2 friends at the furry con in Pittsburgh but oh well)

Mom was dancing around earlier. GOJIRA IS ON! RODAN follows it. Now they're both watching Mothra and it's really neat because they're showing (TCM) the originals (minus Raymond Burr) and subtitled. I've never seen them that way.

The universe did throw me a bone today. Soul has NOT come to see me in the bathroom in the morning for months. He also doesn't like occupying the same space as Kanda. Today they both raced in when I got up.I slammed that door shut. Soul panicked of course but I easily popped them both in the travelbox.

Those are the best way to watch those movies, really. Well, my favorite, at any rate. :) Mothra is my favorite.

I remember watching the bad dubs of all the Japanese monster movies on really early Saturday morning tv, before the cartoons came on, when I was really small. *lol* The kind of dubs where the mouth in no way matches what the voiceover is saying - like the Japanese equivalent of Bill Murray's Greek monster movies on old Sat.Night Live. ^____^

I totally commiserate with the tummy troubles - I first started getting ulcer-ish issues when I was sixteen, and it's been a problem ever since. It's a little better than it was a couple of years ago - there was a time when I really couldn't even eat "safe" foods like cereal and yogurt without having a problem - now it's a little better, but I still get pukey if it's totally empty for too long, and still have problems with things like wine and coffee, and off and on issues with acidic, spicy, or greasy stuff.... (all the fun things, in other words.)

Yeah, I was on the max does of both zantax and prilosec for ages at one point, and STILL not able to eat like a normal human being. I actually had very good luck when I went off of those for a while and just age yogurt every night and took a couple of tablespoons every night of this manuka honey (which has an extremely high anti-bacterial ability - they use it in wound treatment, and for diabetic ulcers, and all kinds of things.) I was able to stay off the meds altogether for a good while - now I take one of the new PPI's, but I'm not going to stay on it much longer. I think staying on the prilosec so long is part of why I had that bad tibia fracture back several years ago. Apparently it depletes calcium pretty badly (but no one tells you that.) I don't have osteoporosis, and didn't take a bad fall, but they said the fracture I had was one that was usually only seen in osteoporosis patients.

yes, my doc long ago warned me about the prilosec and calcium. I don't have issues with it but I take supplements.

I'm not affected by food. My problem is the cardiac sphincter is completely inadequate.It can not close so stuff is constantly running into my esophagus.Without the pills, I'll end up with (and even with them there's a chance) of esophagael cancer.

Yeah, I have a hiatal hernia, which is why I still take the PPI's off and on. But what you have sounds worse.
