I am not hopeful

I'm grading one classes' open notes, open book, talk to each other and ask ME for answers busy work and there are people missing more than half. Another class barely bothers to show up. I am just...disappointed i guess is the word I'm looking for here.

I made up for it with library books and my favorite Mexican place.

Btw for those of you willing to read the scarred soldier story, I'm allowed to make acknowledgements so let me know if you want that and what name to use (still looking for those who want to read it).

It was odd, half my students today wanted podiatry advice and then so did one secretary. I MISS being a doctor so much.

I've painted my finger nails neon purple with glitter. This makes me happier than is reasonable

ETA -Mom just called at midnight. they had to take grandma to the hospital for weakness and possible pneumonia, not completely unexpected since she's been refusing both food and to get out of bed.

Purple is always an excellent color choice! Then again I could be prejudiced because it's my favorite color AND, if you believe Cynthea, most of my wardrobe is in varying shades of purple.

REALLY and truly I DO have clothes in other colors! HONEST!

When I grow old I shall wear a purple dress and a red hat. Well I ain't waiting til I'm officially old (which to me is around 115)....gonna wear that purple dress now!
