Right out of jury duty. The judge said I could be postponed. THEN I get home to find out the damn case was canceled and they MAILED me that tidbit. Why the hell not call me? Would have saved many people much angst. I'll be glad to do my civic duty when I'm not the lone prof teaching several classes.

I think i might have the plague. I was feeling mildly better until @ 2 pm when the headche returned. Took a decongestant then suddenly my sinuses are playing trade off, taking turns being stuffed up and running like mad. Whee.

Also my day started with the dentist and having to have a sharp broken bit of tooth ground down. And all that pushing and doing stuff unhinged the jaw. yay TMJ Whee.

Thanks to those chiming in on the TV issue. I have the right flist. We already watch mostly the same stuff or you like stuff i at least tried. Speaking of TV, ELD informed me CW is remaking Beauty and the Beast . NOOOO! And WHYYYYYYYYYYYY? For god's sake, if we're that desperate for TV shows, i should harness a few of the best writers on my flist and we should make one. I AM taping Elementary tonight though I'm NOT sold on Lucy Lui as Watson. Is anyone else watching Copper? It's turning out a bit soapy for me.

I watched Last Resort tonight and liked it. I will *not* be watching either Elementary or Beauty and the Beast!

I'm recording Elementary -- I'll give it a chance -- and I wanted to try Copper, but kept forgetting it, so I haven't seen an ep yet.

I feel La Crap, myself; my throat hurts like a mo'fo and I'm tired as hell, despite several nights of pretty good sleep. Feel better soon.

I actually watched the leaked pilot a couple weeks ago and I thought it's a good show and imo Lucy Liu did a decent performance as Watson. A little more unsure with the person performing Sherlock to be honest, though it's because a couple scenes featuring him were a bit unsettling.

EDIT: Oh, love your deer and bonsai pictures! I remember my dad buying me a bonsai plant but I didn't take care of it well, haha.

I had a little of the sore throat last week, but it cleared up over the weekend, so I thought I was clear, then yesterday it started up again and by this morning, BLAH.

The only new show I watched last might was Big Bang Theory. XD

I loved the BBC Sherlock, & "Elementary" looks promising, but I have no idea when it's on or even what channel, but I'm not too worried about missing it. I really don't watch much TV. XD

I feel your pain. If I didn't have Tivo (which knows which channel things I want are on), I'd miss a lot more. I used to have to make sure the tape was set for the right time, right channel, blah blah blah. The DVR saved my life.

I'm skipping "Elementary"--the Cumberbatch version is plenty of Sherlock for me--but tried watching "Revolution." So far I'm bored with it. All it does is make me miss "Life After People."

When I told a dentist about a sharp bit of tooth, he asked me why I didn't grind it down with a nail file. Um, because that's a bad idea and it's in the back where I can't see it? He did condescend to tap it with a drill. Sigh.
