cornerofmadnessAll of the suddent starting last week, my powerpoint lectures on my flash drive are corrupting. I accidentally overwrote one on the hard drive too (sigh) am repairing it now. Not sure why it's happening. I ran a scan on the flash. It seems uninfected. Is wondering if it has something to do with the netbook since it didn't start until I started using it to work on things these last two weeks but it shouldn't be infected. It was cleaned AND the internet is broken so I can't go online and reinfect it.
It's destroying my lectures AND my time. I'm trying to fix the lectures up but it just took me a half hour to go back to an older copy and C&P the missing slides since the corrupt ones are replaced by blanks and I can't just wholesale replace the corrupt one with the old since I had spent an hour or more making changes. If anyone has any ideas about this, I'm glad to year them.
Today started out horribly too. My sugar crashed around 5 AM, got up, eat ONE tsp of peanut butter and one sugar pill, went back to bed, had stress nightmares about going to the Renn Fest with the dept chair (we ARE going this weekend) but I suddenly had to be in COlumbus at a wedding because i was the wedding planner (WTF) I knew I didn't know the bride. i started painting her fingernails for her in white but it started turning orange.
Woke up, my sugar was almost 300 (WTF over reaction to a little PB don't we think) so I was wiped out all day from that bounce. On the way out the door, I opened my diabetic shake for breakfast. I usually do this in the house, the last 2 times I forgot and had to in the car. Thank god not this time. This happens to me with yogurt too, you peel back that seal they put on them and it splashes back? This time I swear half the shake came out. All over my chest, on the floor and into the garbage can. Had to whip off my shirt and wash it before the chocolate set in. So glad I was still at home when that happened.
