Nikki the worried Dog

After having to go in uber early to take over another prof's class for reasons I'm still too furious to want to deal with, I felt kinda sick all day. I called everyone who was going to go to the winery with me but not until 5 and said, I'm going now. It's almost 4. I have to go back and make THREE tests by monday. They came with but L and I got there first.

Nikki, the mastiff I've spoken about before, ran up to our cars then ran around all agitated. We asked what was wrong and her owner (who was working with other customers) said see that chair over there. It fell off a truck and she's very upset about it. (Nikki doesn't like change). Yes we had seen the road hazard chair on the side of the road so we went out and dragged it way off the road. Nikki was very happy after that. She just didn't want that chair in the road.

I've hardly slept all week. It's impacting my writing and little things are getting to me. Speaking of writing, for those of you who have read Kept Tears (Aaron/Sebastian's story) do you think Aaron's PTSD is okay or does it need a bit more emphasis?

Also we're ALL on our last nerve with the nursing home portion of grandma's assisted living (where she is rehabbing her arm). She had to go to the hospital today for a check up and (close your eyes havocmangawip) the OT who dressed her LOST her sling for her broken arm in the midst of doing it and told grandma, she couldn't find it and sent her (without my mother being there and she's medical power of attorny) to the hospital with no splint at all on her broken arm.

...how can you lose a sling while dressing someone? HOW???? That boggles my mind.

I've written a few drabbles (okay, a lot of drabbles) but nothing long. And nothing new for Meredith yet.

Oh, Nikki. Though a chair in the road is a bad thing.
