the excitement for the day

cornerofmadnessI was getting ready to go to the library and laundromat and put two books into my FMA messenger bag, surprised they went right in. I look and there is NOTHING inside my messenger bag. I know what happened. THe velcro lifted up and everything slid out. Wasn't around my purse and I reasoned i would HEAR it hit ground if it happened getting in and out of the car. I looked in the car. Nothing. No wallet. No meds, no pens no nothing. My one chance was I put the messenger bag in a box in my office at work to hide it from view and if i lifted it up and it slid out there it wouldn't make a sound and since I didn't have much in it, the weight was negligible.
Luckily my stuff was in my office but for a while there I was imagining having no money (since i put my mad money in the wallet to go to the con last week and forgot about it), no credit cards, no bank caard, no insurance, no nothing. whee.
Someone needs to stop me from taking more books out of the library until I've read through the piles here.
Am beginning to fear I won't clear enough off my plate to finish Nano. That's fine. ANYTHING I get is a plus. I have friended a ton of people over there. if you want to find me, I'm docdana and I'll be doing historical urban fantasy (slash m/m erotica). My local group is getting SO excited.
I was watching Too Cute Kittens tonight and Kanda was trying to be all protective of the onscreen kittens

I'm finally reading a book I've had to renew two times because I couldn't get to it, plus I have five more print books to read and three or four Kindle books. Not to mention all the books I've bought that are still in the 'to be read' bag.
