Kittens and puppies and mice, oh my

The kitten was there this morning but much more shy. EVERYONE has food out for him. He wasn't around when I came home (I wanted to bring him in, it's cold tonight) but i'll keep an eye out. He might be under my neighbor's porch which is where he sheltered under the building last night.

The mouse shit on my desk at work again. Glue traps ahoy.

One of my coworkers brought two of her dauschunds to work, mom and daughter plus all of mom's new babies, 5 piebald red and white (yes i know the AKC doesn't like them) wieners. I got to cuddle them (can't cuddle the wiener I want, so wiener dogs will have to do) one of the boys was strongly colored and so very laid back. (no, wieners aren't my type of dog but he WAS cute)

When I was out canvassing during the election, I came to a house where a dog came barking up to the door. The owner said it was a Chiweinie. Huh? I said. Chihuahua-Wiener dog, it turned out. Cute, but yappy.

Weeeeeeeenerdog. :D I wouldn't want to own one, either, but my sister has the sweetest little wienerdog; she is nothing like the typical breed profile, but rather, a cute little cuddle-sponge that loves everyone. And they are really adorable-looking, especially when they're young.

I love doxies! My cousin had a girl doxie when I lived with them, and she was just adorable. And then I got my Schultzie who was my best friend. I miss him. :-(

Ah, good to know! I put it on my kindle and will do a quick read-through for plot and character, if that's good--I'm also happy to do line edits once you know you have a fairly final draft--but maybe you don't need those. They take a lot longer.

They're adorable (I'm a big dog person). They'd probably be ready for the holidays. I could always wing one (along with a cat or two) at you as I drive by on my way home :-)
